2-28-10
Scripture:
People say they wouldn't have done what Adam and Eve did in the Garden of Eden, but that's because they read the outcome. To believe in something is to have faith in it.
There are no loopholes in God's law. We are given grace. We can't live like the devil all week and come to church on Sunday to start all over again.
Being in church doesn't mean anything if we are not in Christ. We walk by faith not by sight.
The act of faith is always unto God first. We will go broke financially and wear ourselves out physically if we try to reach out to the world in our own strength. First, we need to give glory to God, then God will open doors of ministry and will guide in which ways He wants us to reach out.

Scripture: Psalms 139 :8
We don't serve a little God - God is the same yesterday, today and forever!
Wherever I am, there is God. If I accend into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in hell, you are there.
David wrote: The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want......The Bible says the world is the Lord's. You have every reason to feel defeated if man is your hope! Just the sound of Jesus' name demands obedience.
God will provide wherever we are, and whatever we go through.

Scripture - Hebrews 2:9
* Being a victim doesn't keep you from being the best you can be in Him. He will be the key to your victory.
The Cross
Bearing our cross isn't always or often joyous - but enduring it is our joy.
*Carrying our cross takes committment. The cross isn't necessarily the problems of life, we need give those problems to God, and stop trying to fix them ourselves.
*Carrying our cross - this is the goal or purpose of our lives as Christians.
* God promised to not put more on us that we can bear.
* The world is looking for change. Many politicians campaign on change. True change can only come when we as Christians take up our cross. When we do become serious, Satan will provide you with excuses as to why you can't. We need to trust in Christ, and in faith take up our cross.
Essence of Love
Scripture I Corin. 5:12-19
*The essence of Love is to give. God blesses the giver. When man failed, God chose not to fail, so therefore chose a sacrifice to redeem His creation.
Essence of Hope
The essence of Hope is the preaching of the word of God. The vision of the cross wasn't too heavy for Christ.
His strenght is ours.
Get serious about the spiritual responsibility that God has given you, and take no excuses. Decide to finish, and don't say it's too much to pay. Christ said on the cross "It is finished."
Bearing the cross isn't the joy - our joy comes as a result of bearing the cross. Finishing!
